"9/11 A.M. - A Short Film About Before"

Looking for actors and filmmakers to participate in the quarantine film-making project "9/11 A.M."
"9/11 A.M." is a short film which will be released online September 2020 for the 19th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
The film will show the moments before the attacks as America woke up for just another Tuesday morning. The only audio will come from real time FAA & NORAD recordings as they realized something horrible was going on in the skies above them.
The film will feature entirely cell phone footage that has been edited to look like old camcorder footage. This style is cheap, easy, and caters to social distancing as the world works to turn the tide on the current Coronavirus pandemic. The goal is for each segment to be filmed by a different filmmaker

So long as you're not a wack-o and you show a passion for storytelling you have my attention! I give no guarantees to anyone that they will be given a specific scene or that everyone will be able to work on the project, but I will hear each filmmaker out. If you are disrespectful in anyway to this sensitive subject matter you will be removed from the project, the goal of this film is not to make a statement. We are just trying to capture a lost moment in time before the entire world changed.
There is a rough draft of the script available to read that captures the flow and feeling of the final film, but I anticipate a lot will change based on what the respective filmmakers and actors bring to the table. For example the script currently has a scene set in front of the San Francisco Bay, but if no filmmakers live in that area it will be adapted to take place in a city the respective filmmaker chosen has access to. I fully expect half of the scenes included to not make the final cut to be replaced by new pitches.
All scenes will be story-boarded by me, but the chosen filmmakers will always be the ones with the camera in their hands and I encourage you to be creative and express yourselves.

9/11 P.M. Short Film
The future goal is to create a short film called "9/11 P.M." which follows up with some of the characters seen in "9/11 A.M." but this time featuring sound and a written script.
The focus now is on "9/11 A.M." as this project would require a film crew and depends upon the success of "9/11 A.M."
