Memories from Andorra
1. "It was my first day at high school, 14 years old. It was around 17:00 when it was on all the TV channels that a plane had crashed in one of the towers. I called my parents who were working and they stopped everything and put the news. The 2nd plane crashed and towers collapsed. It was at the other side of the world but its like everyone knew that this was serious and that many things would change from then on (and they did). It was a big thing. I guess all of us could empathize with the U.S.A. as a first world country. It felt as if it was an attack against all the developed countries and our way of living more than only an attack at the U.S.
I think if something similar happened today, it would have much less impact in our lives as we're somehow more 'used to it'."
