Memories From Colombia

1. "I was 9 years old that day, in third grade at school. It was a normal day in the classroom when the English teacher came and started to explain some Math stuff, which it was weird. Suddenly we heard a classmate opening the door, yelling that the WTC are in flames. Everyone is confused and the teacher went to the principal's office, because the TV is on.
Time goes by and other teacher had told us the bad news: The United States is under attack. The entire classroom turned into chaos when someone yelled that this is the end of the world.
I thought it just happens in a Hollywood movie, but it wasn't when I came to the apartment, turned the TV on and see the images of the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and Shanksville (United 93) that I realized it was real and serious!
I couldn't believe what happened that day and everyone didn't stop talking about it, even the news who are covering the tragic event and how the world changed years later with the security, surveillance, terrorism and so on.
It will remain in my memory 'till I die.
